Legal Agreement

Terms of Service

Effective Date: June 12, 2026 • Last Updated: June 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or subscribing to the InfoOS desktop software or web portal, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the software.

2. License Grant & Device Seat Limits

InfoOS grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable (except where explicitly permitted under Enterprise plans) license to install and run the software according to your active subscription plan:

  • Starter Plan: Authorized for 1 concurrent physical billing counter PC.
  • Professional Plan: Authorized for up to 3 concurrent counter PCs or kitchen display terminals.
  • Enterprise Plan: Authorized for multiple or unlimited outlet counters as specified in your agreement.

3. Offline Operation & Data Responsibilities

Because InfoOS is designed offline-first, your sales, customer, and inventory records reside directly on your counter computer’s local storage. Consequently:

  • You are responsible for maintaining working computer hardware, regular operating system updates, and antivirus protection.
  • We strongly advise maintaining periodic local backup copies (via Settings → Backup) or utilizing the Cloud Backup Sync feature.
  • InfoOS is not liable for data loss caused by local hardware drive failure, physical machine theft, or malicious third-party software on your device.

4. Subscriptions, Payments & Cancellations

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time via the Customer Dashboard. Upon cancellation, your terminal retains offline access until the end of your prepaid billing period. We do not impose hidden cancellation fees or long-term lock-in penalties.

5. Hardware & Third-Party Printers

InfoOS provides standard ESC/POS driver integration for thermal receipt printers, barcode readers, and cash drawers. While InfoOS works with standard plug-and-play USB and Ethernet POS peripherals, InfoOS does not manufacture physical hardware and is not liable for physical device malfunctions.

6. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

  • Decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or attempt to derive the source code of InfoOS binaries.
  • Circumvent or tamper with terminal licensing security mechanisms.
  • Resell, sublicense, or distribute unauthorized copies of the application.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

InfoOS is provided "as is" and "as available". In no event shall InfoOS or its developers be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from business interruptions, lost profits, or hardware downtime.
